Caught!

Caught at the wrong time,

In the wrong place.

In somebody’s arms,

Staring at their face.

Caught at the wrong time,

In the wrong position.

Trying to compete with,

The wrong competition.

Caught at the wrong time,

Had too much to drink.

Not enough to eat,

I didn’t stop to think.

Caught at the wrong time,

What harm could it do.

Now I know for certain,

You and I are through.

Caught at the wrong time,

I just want you back.

Ever since you caught me,

My world has turned to black.

Caught at the wrong time,

But never, never again.

Why did you have to walk in then,

It’s driving me insane.

I think I’ve learned my lesson,

I hang my head in shame.

I was caught at the wrong time,

I’m the one to blame.
